This vintage 1970’s classical acoustic guitar made by Yamaha and customized by myself sounds fantastic, it’s loud with a strong crisp resonance, the neck is straight, the action is sweet. I hoarded this instrument (created in 2007) because of its wonderful tone and it is a fine example of my work. I don’t make these guitars anymore. The hard shell case is the only one I ever made (for myself) and it took a ridiculous amount of time to complete, well over a hundred hours, Epoxy resin applied in many multiple thin layers is what was used to seal these functional art pieces, they’re practically bulletproof and waterproof. They will be around for as many years as someone takes an interest, no peeling or anything stupid like that, it took decades to perfect the technique that was employed to make these objects.
