These plates are much lighter than steel plates and bullets won't surface fragment like the do on steel plates. See the video for information about how the ballistic backer catches the bullet fragments after they are broken up by the ceramic.

Plates can be used as front or rear plates. Make sure that the "STRIKE FACE" is situated toward the threat.
Plate manufacturing and issue dates are left blank on brand new plates so that customers can complete the information with the writing style, typing style or instrument of their own choices. If plates are not brand new, then the manufacturing date will be entered.
Warranty: Ballistic plate materials have 5 year warranty (does not include rips/tears on outer cover material or damage done by dropping).
Return Policy:
We accept returns for unworn items (other than trying them on). However, due to the cost of shipping, the shipping costs must be paid by the buyer.  We take photos of all shipments.  We offer buyers a 10% discount on any other item that we well as an aid in offsetting shipping costs for items returned for sizing.
Face shields and armor plates are manufactured in stated size only.
If your item fails to be delivered once because no one was there to accept it, authorization will be granted to allow the delivery to be left at the door (in accordance with ebay delivery policy).
Feedback Policy:
We do not leave feedback until we know that the item has been successfully delivered and all communication about the transaction has been completed.  If you are satisfied with your item and the transaction, please leave positive feedback.
Shipping Policy:
We print shipping labels every morning at 10 AM Central time.  If your order arrives after this time, it will be included in the next day's shipment. We strive to use USPS Priority shipping.  In certain cases, we reserve the right to choose our own shipping method, should our normal service be exceptionally expensive.

Buyer agrees to cooperate with Customs and Customs clearance if required. Buyer not cooperating with Customs to provide documents or does not pay Customs duties will cause non-delivery of goods and we will not be held responsible.
Although our body armor is tested to withstand bullets and like ALL body armor,
the armor is bullet resistant and not bulletproof.
Body armor will not protect someone from injury or death in all circumstances. Body armor will not provide any protection for the parts not covered by the armor.
Buyer acknowledges that there is always a risk of injury, including serious injury or death, if struck by a bullet while wearing body armor.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Buyer and heirs, assigns, successors, and agents agree that we are not liable for any injury, including serious injury or death that may occur during the use of our body armor. To that end, Buyer and heirs, assigns, successors, and agents, release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless us for any liability from the purchase, possession, or use of the body armor. Buyer and heirs, assigns successors, and agents specifically disclaim any right to any damages from Seller, including compensatory damages, incidental damages, consequential damages, punitive damages, costs, and attorney?s fees.
