Trader-BOB's MUSIC offers a  13" bodied, no brand name parlor guitar. Possibly Regal, Chicago. Thank you to a more knowledgeable eabyer.  12th fret, meets at the body. Possibly 1920's or earlier. Has the semi "V" shaped neck, popular back then. The 18 fret neck, has .007" neck relief, (bow). Quite amazing for a guitar of this age. The fret board is flat, not radiussed. There is some wear on the "T"  fret wires, and fret board. Someone has installed a "plain string", on the "G", not wound, as it should be.  There is no brand name anywhere, but it has a 4 digit serial number on the back side of the headstock, "3557". The 3 on a plate tuners, are unmarked, all work fine. The tuner buttons are in good shape, no crumbling, of the plastic. The tuner bushings look original. The ladder  braced body, appears to be made of birch wood, solid, not laminate. There are no visible cracks, loose cross braces, or  seam separations.  The neck to body joint is tight.  The string action height, is a little high, approx. .160". The floating bridge, can be lowered, by removing material from the mating surface. This is not an adjustable height bridge. Although, being "Compensated" is a little unusual for it's age. The trapeze tailpiece looks original . Measures, 36-3/4" overall, 24" scale length, 1-3/4" nut width, 13-1/8" lower bout, 7-5/8" waist, 9-5/8" upper bout, and 3-13/16" body thickness. Painted on soundhole trim, no binding on the body. Kind of a plain jane, but it has a compensated bridge, and tuner bushings. Some scratches, and signs of normal wear. Way above average for it's age. The chipboard style case looks like it is the original for this guitar. Latches are all good, a couple tears in the lip, of the lid. Just a bit of a PROJECT. NOT UP TO IT? PLEASE DO NOT BID / BUY ! Look at my feedback, buy with confidence !
