This museum quality acoustic Octofone Guitar is one of the finest redesigned Octofone instruments ever made. They were first introduced by the Regal Musical Instrument Company at the 1928 NAMM Show in Chicago, Ill.  Today, this BRAND NEW Octofone Guitar is still made in the USA, and is the first production model from our company.  We are offering for sale Octofone Certificate Number 11 which is a limited edition.  The guitars were hand-crafted in Oxnard, CA by Jean Larrivee for the Octofone Guitar Company.
Features:
The magical sounds produced by our instruments are Harmonically balanced using our custom 8-pin ebony bridge which interfaces with the internal X bracing designed for us by Jean Larrivee. The performance specifications of string spacing, neck shape and string gauges were developed by Doc Bochenek from over 50 years playing this type of instrument. The sound is bright and the sustains blend the tones as if the instrument was seasoned. This instrument, when amplified, offers endless possibilities for the studio or in live performance settings.  Finally, we are able to introduce an 8-string guitar for the discerning musician that brings a new voice to the world of string instruments never before heard at this level of quality.
All solid Premium woods:
Top and internal Bracing – MoonWood - Spruce-from the Swiss/Austrian/Italian Alps- The MoonWood is harvested once a year when there is a full moon.  At this time the moisture is pulled from the tree into its roots. Also the leaves on the trees form a canopy which allows the leaves to have full direct sun throughout the day causing the grains of the wood to be their straightest.  This forest is located above 10,000 feet and is the very same forest that Stradivarius used to make his famous violins nearly 200 years ago.
