Vintage Beautiful 1938 Gibson L-5 Acoustic Guitar w/ DeArmond Mod. 1000 Pickup
Original Kluson Tuner knobs
In great condition, guitar has been well taken care of and stored in a controlled environment. Guitar has minor marks/scratches from use over the years and has some signs of age, but is in great shape considering how old it is. Back of guitar has slight crack down the left side (see 2nd to last photo). Headstock has some mild crazing. Bottom front area has a "V" shaped patch of discoloration (seen in last photo).
This guitar does not appear to have ever been physically damaged or repaired. Includes a DeArmond Model 1000 pickup that was likely installed around the 1950's. Guitar has low action, plays and sounds great.
Gibson was contacted and dated 1938 per serial number 95567.
Guitar appears to be fully original besides the pickup. Comes with an old aftermarket case. See photos for details.
